As a Test Engineer, you will be a member of the Test and Product engineering team supporting high performance analog and mixed signal semiconductor devices.

About the job:

  • Define “lowest cost” production test platform and test flow strategy for Automotive, Industrial and Consumer products

  • Define a test strategy that enables hardware/software re-use to maximize efficiency and minimize spend

  • Model/set aggressive test cost goals by product family/device niches and continuously look for opportunities to drive the lower test cost entitlement

  • Manage several projects with complex dependencies and lead the team through conflicting priorities to achieve desired results

  • Define test coverage strategy that results in 0 DPPM for automotive as well as industrial products

  • Background in analog design to proactively drive design for test (DFT) efforts at the product family level with development teams to allow functional testing of device to optimize test cost and guarantee test coverage for random fab defects.

  • Support business unit with tester, fab and AT offloads activities to support supply continuity/ revenue growth

  • Create a support plan for verification of field failures, customer returns that meets overall customer return cycle time (CRCT) goal for automotive and industrial customers

  • Share lessons learnt related to production issues, test innovation/best practices with broader teams

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related with a minimum of 3+ years of professional industry experience in a test/product engineering role

  • Experienced with data analysis tools such as Spotfire

  • Knowledge of IC manufacturing processes including fab, assembly and test

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Self driven leader with a passion to influence cross functional teams to solve complex problems

  • Proven track record of flawless execution/results with a focus on innovation/continuous improvement

  • Willing to mentor, motivate team members to help them reach their full potential

  • Demonstrated objective and out of the box thinker

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to share key messages in a succinct manner

  • Capability and comfort to drive customer communication

  • Worked with geographically diverse teams and collaborate effectively with peers

  • Experienced with test development for Analog/Mixed signal devices on ATE (Automated Test Equipment) platforms
