Texas Instruments is seeking a Systems Engineer for our Tucson, AZ or Dallas, TX site. This team leads the space of temperature and humidity sensing, understand the market and propose innovative differentiated solutions. As a systems engineering you will engage with customers to help them define new products and uncover opportunities for future product development and develop specifications for new and creative system designs.

•Communicate regularly with relevant teams, people, and customers to continually improve our products and customer support

•Work with Design, Test, Systems and Program Management to successfully bring new products from initial concept to production.

•Support customers to solve customer problems and to enable credibility and gain new business across industrial, automotive and PE customers.

•Work closely with field marketing and application teams to provide technical customer support with collaterals, customer visits, technical presentations, workshops, deep-dives, review of customer designs and architectures

•Have good system understanding to ensure product is specified in optimum way with first pass success in customer system

•Create detailed VVCM’s with specs and test conditions to enabling first pass success

•On-site (some domestic and international travel) or by phone customer debug, support and promotion

•Excellent communication, teaming, technical interaction/presentation, and relationship/trust building skills.

Minimum requirements:

•Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or related degree with 3+ years of experience

•Fundamental understanding of basic communication interfaces, fundamentals of circuits and protection standards.

•Exposure and familiarity for the design process from product definition to RTM

•Good teaming skills, interpersonal skills, clear verbal and written communication skills and a high degree of accountability and drive for success.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

•Systems engineering experience with ADC’s, analog system definition is preferred with IC development background (design and/or verification)

•Familiarity with lab testing, board reviews to support a potential debug or customer system review or to do system level analysis of device.

•System understanding of end equipment’s for PE/Automotive and Industrial

•Potential to represent TI in central committees and enhance TI’s portfolio and reputation among field and customers.

•Should be able to independently have key engineers at customers to make product definition trade-offs.
