Texas Instruments is seeking an Applications Engineer focused on customer design-in support, generation of ti.com technical collateral, and preparing and delivering 1 hour deep technical training at customers for op amp building block circuits as well as complete signal chain designs and simulations. This position requires the ability to very effectively and efficiently interact with a number of organizations within and outside of TI, across the globe.
Some of your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Developing high quality reference designs with all necessary collateral (hardware, software, firmware, test data, documentation)
Customer support; directly or on TI's E2E forum.
Collaborating with systems engineers and marketing engineers on new product device definition and development.
New Product Demand Creation Activities
• Build, design, document and test EVMs for new components. Spice Models, FW and GUI development.
• Silicon validation from the application side
• Work closely with the business development team for competition analysis, customer support and product marketing.
• Develop full demos that can highlight the full use case and the differentiation that our solution would bring to the end customer
• Monitor and respond to our external forum (E2E) questions, promoting TI products and providing appropriate technical solutions to customers to solve their design challenges
• Special focus on web-based technical content creation like Application notes, reference designs etc.,
• Provide technical training to customers and FAEs with collateral & direct visits
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience in Op Amp, Difference Amp, Instrumentation Amp Support, Firmware, Software
Basic knowledge of Op Amp Stability, Power Op Amps, Difference and Instrumentation Amplifiers.
Other tools: SPICE simulation tools, PCB design (Altium, OrCAD, etc.), MATLAB, Firmware, Software.
Board and System level debug and troubleshooting skills.
