About the job:
Texas Instruments is seeking an Analog IC Layout Designer to be located in our Tucson, AZ site. In this position you will be expected to work closely with design engineering to drive the integrated circuit layout from start to finish. Knowledge of Cadence tool suite, analog layout, floor-planning, packaging and fabrication are required.
Basic Job Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Electronics or related engineering degree with 2 years of layout experience
Experience with Cadence suite of tools: Virtuoso L / XL, Modgen, Assura, etc
Full-custom circuit layout/verification and RC extraction experience.
Understand and implement constraint driven layout.
Good understanding semiconductor technology, process and device physics.
Knowledge of different packaging technologies.
Experience with ESD, Latch-Up, EMI, and antenna.
Understanding and implementations of good layout practices for matching, low noise, area savings etc.
Good verbal and written communications skills.
Unix and Cadence database management skills.
Shell or other programming language
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors’ degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree
