About the job:
The job requires working in a wafer fab cleanroom environment and spending 8-9 hrs in the factory with manufacturing direct reports. The desired candidate will have previous experience transitioning to new roles quickly and effectively, learning new concepts, and being self-motivated to meet objectives in a rapid paced work environment.
The candidate must be a team player who can work with supervisors and engineers to achieve business goals. The successfull candidate will also have excellent people skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, influence others within and across teams, and relate to individuals from various backgrounds, experiences, and skills. The ability to successfully motivate and enable others to perform at a high level is fundamental to the job role. Experience with training and developing others or leading teams is a plus.
The preferred candidate will also have the additional qualifications:
Knowledge of manufacturing sciences, manufacturing process and equipment
Readily accepts changes in the organization and business
Takes the initiative to influence through peer and direct reports
Adapts easily to changing priorities
Seeks to proactively prevent counterproductive manufacturing events
Demonstrates proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software tools.
Must have a Bachelor's degree
Minimum 2 year of manufacturing management or related semiconductor experience
Able to work days or nights on shift in a wafer fab and this position requires working on compressed shift.
