About the Job:
The Digital Solutions Team is responsible for all things digital in the HVP-BU portfolio. We design complete digital macros that go into mixed signal high power drivers & controllers.
The Senior Digital designer on the team will be working independently on the development of digital blocks embedded in TI’s HVP's Mixed Signal Power Products from RTL to GDSII/LAFF handoff to TLDV and Analog Layout.
The role includes:
• Ownership of digital blocks from Definition till Silicon Validation.
• Working with Systems & Analog teams to define architecture, data/clocking/analog interfaces and complete DFT for meeting Automotive requirements.
• Working closely with Test Engineering to ensure proper test coverage of the product.
• Interacting with Application Engineering to ensure successful use of products in the marketplace.
• Interacting with Product Engineering to characterize Silicon and transfer integrated circuits from design to production.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related degree
5+ years of related experience
Able to own all aspects of Digital Front End Design (Design Documentation, RTL, DV, Constraint Random Testing, Self Regressing TC, Async handing, Code/Functional Coverage, Lint, etc)
Able to own all aspects of Digital Physical Design (Synthesis, Scan, PnR, timing, reliability analysis, IR drop analysis, physical verification etc)
Experienced in working with Digital/Analog designers & systems to define data/clocking interfaces and complete clocking scheme.
Experience in dealing with Asynchronous signals, interfaces
Experience in working with Analog Top mixed signal devices
Familiarity with Automotive Functional Safety a plus
Familiarity with TI LBC* technology processes
Experience with TI memories (OTP, ROM, SRAM etc)
Familiarity with TI Athena flow a plus.
Effective communication & people skills to interact with all stakeholders.
Detailed & concise documentation skills.
Ability to follow a detailed/disciplined project tracking flow and release milestones.
Collaborate effectively with peer functions
