About the job:

TI’s High Voltage Power business is searching for a Gallium Nitride (GaN) product marketing engineer. In this exciting role, you will be part of a strong and fast-moving team and you will have a chance to:

  • Drive revenue growth in every application and region

  • Develop a deep understanding of the high-voltage (36V-650V) power conversion markets such as server, telecom, solar, grid infrastructure, and automotive

  • Develop best-in-class collaterals for GaN product and solutions, product launches, campaigns, and Go-to-Market strategies

  • Interface directly with TI customers, sales and FAEs, and business units

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related

  • 2+ years of related experienced

  • Experience driving opportunities to grow revenue and market share while maintaining profitability across targeted end equipment

  • Maintaining close relationships with strategic customers and the field sales

  • Developing product positioning and messaging that differentiates the products in the market, including finding adjacent markets and customers

  • Planning, managing and executing all marketing activities during the life cycle of a new product (Pre RTM, at RTM and post RTM)

  • Reviewing competitive landscape and building strategies to address gaps

  • Following up weekly and monthly on opportunities; from price escalations, customer visits, sampling activity, etc.

  • Collaborating and communicating the product strategies effectively to cross-functional and cross-cultural teams - price, campaigns, internet marketing, launch etc.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Availability to travel in US and international

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aggressive drive to grow the business through every avenue

  • Passion for new technologies such as GaN

  • Ability to take ownership of the portfolio’s business success in key sectors

  • Systems or Applications Engineering experience in Drivers, FETs, or Power is a plus

  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions

  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships, both inside and outside of the company

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
