Texas Instruments Norway designs, produces and markets high-performance radio frequency integrated circuits (RF ICs) for use in a variety of wireless applications. In addition to having the opportunity to join a very successful team in a great working environment, this designer will have the chance to learn several unique skills for low power design, robustness and low area consumption. This will present opportunities for publications and additional exposure.
As an Analog Design Engineer for TI’s Low-Power RF organization, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems. The design group has responsibility for ADC and DAC designs in for LPRF, and is also involved in a variety of other analog and mixed-signal design tasks as well as top level chip design
Specific responsibilities will include:
• Circuit design of linear analog circuits
• Specification, design, simulation, and layout supervision of analog blocks such as amplifiers, references, data converter, LDO, DC-DC converters.
• Lab evaluation, characterization, and troubleshooting.
• Supporting the design, systems, application, product, and test engineering teams in the specification, development, characterization, production test, ramp to volume, and marketing of analog ICs.
• M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or equivalent with strong results
• A good basic understanding of different types of analog blocks such as amplifiers, references, data converter and LDOs is a must.
• Knowledge of Matlab / Simulink is a plus
• Some knowledge of digital design is desirable
• Qualified applicants must speak and write English at business level.
• Less than 1 year work experience after graduation.
