Job Posting Title Intern / Trainee (Information Technology Department)
Job Description - Provide IT Services and support to regional and worldwide Texas Instrument manufacturing plants and operations.
Engage with local and remote teams to drive projects and support role to completion.
Gather detailed requirements from end user for projects and support issues.
Provide complete documentation on project and support procedures.
Meet project deadlines and resolve issues quickly to ensure minimal manufacturing and operation disruption.
Provide 24x7 or Follow The Sun on-call supports as needed to resolve and prevent critical issues from impacting production line.
Develop or modify new and existing software to eliminate human error, automate the entire equipment operation scenario & real time decision making; including recipe management and control, data capture, end user interface, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) interface capabilities & allow Real Time Job Dispatching (RTD) decision making.
Using well established software engineering processes, from detailed requirements gathering, design review, writing software code, thorough acceptance testing to beta release and fan-out.
Provide complete documentation for each software development lifecycle steps including training, installation and maintenance.
Perform troubleshooting and debugging on reported issues related to the automation software.
