About the job:

Common tasks are diverse and include some of the following:

•System level data accusation and test system development and debug.

•Support the development of forward thinking next generation test hardware solutions.

•Driving systematic PCB HW failures to root cause.

•Working very closely with both internal and external supply chain partners.

•Providing expert support to Texas Instruments parametric tester floors and system users.

•Developing documentation, application notes, user’s guides, training material and innovative solutions to continually evolve our TI parametric and WLR test floors.

Minimum Requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or related engineering degree

•3+ years of experience and hands-on knowledge of electromechanical hardware troubleshooting.

•Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills.

•Good understanding of statistical methods and data analysis tools like “R”, etc. is needed.

•Strong understanding of component specifications.

•Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

•Proficiency with bench level test equipment (i.e. DC power supplies, oscilloscopes, multi-meters)

•5+ years of experience and hands-on knowledge of electromechanical hardware troubleshooting.

•Desirable programming skills include: C++ or Visual C++ or other similar programming languages.

•Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills

•Strong verbal and written communication skills

•Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions

•Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery

•Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships

•Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced global team environment with other technical teams

•Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
