Job Description About the job:
Provide product engineering support for any products running at probe in SCT. The SCT PDE tech team’s specific mission is to ensure stable test yields and process controls / documents / high level training support is in place for SCT to provide full GEC entitlement with test solutions provided by LBE/Fab PDE.
This includes support on process optimization and / or program check out necessary to accomplish this task. Be able to introduce capacity improvements to meet the expected wafers per quarter goals. Studies equipment performance and test stability. Data analysis, yield analysis, for test integrity, etc.
Sustaining support of probe test program issues. Provides hands on technical support to the manufacturing, disposition, and operations engineering organizations. Independent work is a major part of a PDE position in this organization. Self motivation, initiative, follow through, and accountability are all key attributes for a top performer. Must be able to plan a detailed schedule with appropriate understanding of risks involved and execute it. Communication must be very clear and concise. High level of ownership is expected.
Projects and Deliverables: Support SCT’s customers through execution of test performance metrics and innovative programs, which deliver efficient Process/Product control and SCT planned commitments for output.
Team & People Issues: Must be a team player. There will be a strong emphasis on sharing of knowledge and documenting and presenting lessons learned to the group as an expectation. Work well cross-functionally and drive consensus to resolve technical issues as well as overcome communication barriers that occur with globally disperse teams.
Associate’s degree in an electronics-related field or equivalent Military Electronics related training,
Pass the technician pre-employment and the appropriate sections on the GenTech
1 year of experience working in semiconductor manufacturing environment
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Process/Equipment Engineering experience (probers, probe cards, tester platform experience). Unix software knowledge with ability to troubleshoot test stability issues for production support. SMS skills a plus. Need positive focus and a can do attitude. Self motivated with the ability to work with or without direct supervision.
