About the Job
The individual in this role will work on the development and implementation of TI's advanced Gallium Nitride technology. Will analyze probe, multiprobe, and fab data to drive process improvement and increase yield. Will work with Probe Test Team, business units, and Technology Development to drive development of robust GaN process that achieves device requirements. Will drive process stability and improvement through ramp and into manufacturing.
This individual contributor will have the opportunity to work on leading-edge GaN technology. This individual will contribute to GaN development by defining and analyzing experiments for GaN processing, with primary focus on driving probe and multiprobe improvements. Assure new technology process integration achieves targeted device performance and robust manufacturing performance. Technical problem solving for issues regarding device performance, yield.
BS, MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Materials Science, Physics, or a related engineering degree
Minimum BS or MS with 3+ years of experience OR PhD with 1+ years of experience in process integration or product engineering
Good working knowledge of fab processing, device physics, analytical software and statistical analysis.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
-The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in device processing and integration, and device characterization.
-Strong working knowledge of process/device development flow from conception of new device/technology to implementation into volume manufacturing.
-Design and analysis of multivariate experiments (DOE).
-Good familiarity with technology development process.
