About the job:
DHC has been a hub of innovation for many years bringing creative solutions to an ever growing MEMS landscape. Today, DHC is partnering with DLP to develop a unique hermetic wafer level packaging process for automotive Head’s Up displays and headlights, as well as projectors. DHC also houses the majority of the Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) flow. In addition to typical fab processing, DHC’s equipment set includes Fusion Bond, TMAH Si Etch, Ion Trimming and thick resist capabilities with a number of the processes on glass wafers. Be a part of a small team to drive exciting future business for Texas Instruments. The DHC equipment engineering team is seeking an engineer to support fabrication operations by providing technical engineering expertise on Photolithography, Plasma, CMP, Wet, and/or Metrology equipment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
“Hands-on” approach to troubleshooting and resolving equipment problems
Modification of existing tools to improve process yield and throughput on non-standard wafers (clear glass, thick bonded wafer pairs, etc.)
Analysis of equipment data to identify and understand root-cause of chronic equipment failure modes and implement solutions
Identify innovative solutions to improve the baseline equipment performance
Sustain existing equipment fleet
Support equipment upgrades/installation ramp projects
Build relationships and work with vendors to aid in equipment modifications/service
BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering Physics or related field of study
Minimum 3 years of Fab Equipment Engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Experience in operation and maintenance of Polaris workcells, Canon steppers, TEL Mark 8 tracks, and Suss mask aligners
Experience in operation and maintenance of LAM 9600, and LAM 4500 equipment
Experience in operation and maintenance of AMAT Mirra Mesa equipment
Experience in operation and maintenance of DNS WS-820C, Akrion GAMA, Semitool SAT, Semitool SST, DNS 80A
Experience in operation and maintenance of AMAT Compass, KLA UV1280, KLA 6400, and Flexus 5400 equipment
The ideal candidate has experience in preparing/defining specifications for use by technicians, manufacturing specialists, and colleagues
Ability to acquire data from various databases for informed decision making
