This Plasma equipment technician position will responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of AMAT and Axcelis Plasma Etch and Ash equipment. Due to the legacy AMAT and LAM equipment, experience would be desirable but is not essential.

Strong troubleshooting skills is required to address systematic/chronic problems with these toolset in a wide variety of complex electronic and/or electromechanical interface devices, vacuum systems, robotic systems and precision gas flow equipment.

The successful candidate must work well with other technicians, lead technicians, engineers and manufacturing specialists and help identify improvement projects to increase operational availability, reduce scrap and drive down cost.

Candidates should have strong Electro/Mechanical troubleshooting skill and be must be comfortable standing for 11.5 hrs. per day on a rotating 3 on, 4 off/ 4 on, 3 off rotating schedule.

This opening is for D shift.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associates degree in an electronics field or equivalent military field.

  • Successfully pass Pre-employment and GenTech assessments

  • 2 years of Technician experience working in semiconductor manufacturing environment
