About the job:

The DFAB Photolithography engineering team is seeking an engineer to support fabrication operations by providing technical engineering expertise in Photolithography processes including new processing development, optimization of existing processes, yield improvements and customer interaction for both internal and external.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop photolithography processes to meet customer specifications & manufacturing process flows from customer requirements

  • Develop coat processes for photoresist films on FSI and TEL tracks

  • Sustain, evaluate and improve existing photolithography processes and process levels

  • Work with Process Development Teams to integrate successful fabrication & match process capability to product requirement

  • Introduce and qualify photoresist films to improve cost and yield

  • Improve existing recipe management systems

Team and People Skills:

  • Work closely with equipment and process technicians to influence in a constructive manner

  • Work closely with operations teams to align equipment availability for engineering work or any support needed

  • Work closely with Product/process engineering teams to identify root cause for process yield issues

  • Work with cross module teams to identify and solve complex integration problems. Must be able to communicate and effectively work on cross functional teams

Projects and Deliverables:

  • Ability to break big tasks into smaller pieces to avoid distraction

  • Must demonstrate the ability to carefully define project milestones and execute as planned

  • Good written and oral communication of issues and resolution is a must

  • Ability to present in front of large or smaller teams

Complex Tasks:

  • Day to day problems require the candidate to think outside of the box and come up with solutions that truly improve yield

  • Ability to multitask and execute multiple projects at the same time is a must

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS in Electrical, Chemical, Chemistry, Engineering Physics, Material Science or related engineering degree (EET/MET)

  • Minimum 3 years of engineering work experience in Photolithography

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience of coat process development on FSI and TEL tracks

  • Ability to lead and supervise team of technicians

  • The ideal candidate has experience in preparing/defining specifications for use by technicians, manufacturing specialists, and colleagues

  • Ability to acquire data from various databases for informed decision making
