About the job:
In this role you will work closely with developers, System Engineering and Program management to develop test plan for new features, ensuring a high quality release to the customer. Responsibilities include reviewing existing test procedures and identifying opportunities for optimization to increase efficiency, as well as maintenance of the current test automation infrastructure.
Bachelor's of Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years of validation experience
Good scripting/C coding ability
Ability to investigate and debug difficult or hard to reproduce problems that involve hardware / firmware interaction.
Proven record of completing projects on-time and to specification
Master's of Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Comfortable with board schematics and hardware / firmware debugging skills
Comfortable using lab equipment.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced and informal environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience)
Have a good understanding of how the device is being used in customer's application and have a "Break the part" mentality.
Experience with LabVIEW / Teststand and Python scripting
Application development experience (C/C++/.NET/C#/Objective C)
