Job Description Who are we and what do we do?

In Precision Data Converter group we design precision data converters targeted for industrial, consumer electronics and automotive markets. The group is responsible for developing very high performance analog products. We design all types of analog and mixed signal IP’s like data converters (ADC and DAC), power management (LDO), opamps, comparators, references, analog front ends (Multiplexers, S/H devices) All these IPs have to co-exist and meet performance of the products. We strive to continually differentiate our products with best-in-class analog and raising the bar for competition. Our previous released product was industry’s best in class 20bit SAR ADC with integrated Reference Buffer.

What will you be doing in this role? (Responsibilities)

As Test and validation Engineer in the team, you will be responsible for working on testing high performance, and Testchips. You will have to work with the designers to understand the IP Specification, design and architecture of the IP.

• Test Method development, Board design, Automation development and Data collection across conditions.

• Generation of final summary report .

• Device debug and root cause analysis.

• Analyze and drive systematic improvements based on lessons learned from Silicon failures.

What do we expect from you? (Mini Qualifications)

• Proficient in testing various analog IP’s, understanding of test equipment usage, tools like LabVIEW, C, C++, C#, Matlab etc.

• Must be highly focused and remain committed on identifying silicon issue, improving efficiency.

• Good interpersonal skills to be able to work and collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills/ Experience

Experience in analog bench/test validation of PLLs, Oscillators, ADCs, DACs, DC-DC converters, LDOs, Bandgaps, Op-Amps, Comparators.

Experience with LabVIEW automation, test instruments (Scope, spectrum analyzer, power supplies, multimeter, function generator), High performance Board design (Cadence or similar tools)
