Job Description Who are we and what do we do?
MCS group in TI develops multiphase DC-DC buck controllers for high current applications. TI’s products in this area are one of the industry’s leading products. The team in Bangalore is responsible all the way from product definition to design, layout, DV, test, validation, program management and customer support.
What will you be doing in this role? (Responsibilities)
Responsible for developing a coverage driven verification plan by working closely with System, APPS and design team to ensure first pass silicon success
Develop test benches using UVM, automation and create stimulus to verify the design under test
Work with regression tools and develop scripts to submit cases for regression analysis
Contribute to continuous improvements for quality and efficiency on DV strategy, tools, methods and flows
What do we expect from you? (Mini Qualifications)
Knowledge and Skills
Experience in ARM CortexM0 based processor verification
Hands-on experience in Systemverilog/UVM is a must
Experience with implementation of modern verification environment that include constrained random stimulus and use of functional coverage
Proficiency in Scripting languages and utilities including Makefile, Python, Perl, VBA, etc.
Ability to debug issues independently and highlight problems
Good team player, attitude and thirst for continuous learning
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to function independently
Preferred Skills/ Experience
2-6 Years’ experience in Digital Verification
Experience in UVM, SystemVerilog, C, Verilog, Cadence tools like irun/ncsim/Vmanager
Knowledge of power management protocol like PMBUS, SVID
