About the job:

-Own the support and development roadmap for the worldwide System Specification tool used by internal TI businesses

-Oversee, direct and coordinate support efforts across all our sites through direct collaboration with senior TI engineers that are strategically deployed in key sites.

-Understand their support needs and help them balance across the broader team.

-Lead support engineer for the entire Dallas area. As the Dallas lead, this person will be the front line support for a very large set of set of business units that includes a very diverse set of customers.

-Manage development of training materials and organization of tool documentation

-Own issue tracking for the tool ensuring that no problem slips through the cracks

-Present high level VVCM training sessions

-Requires collaboration with other central support groups like I.T., broader ADS, etc.

-Help drive the definition and implementation of the System Engineering flow for specification content creation

-Act as team’s “eyes and ears into the customer’s world”. Meaning that our senior development team will look to this person to provide inputs into and feedback on our very aggressive internal roadmap.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related

• Very strong people and communications skills are very crucial in this role

• 2+ years of semiconductor industry experience

• 5+ years of data analytics, problem solving

• 5+ years of experience using scripting languages such as Java, C++, Matlab, HTML, XML

• Experience directing, training and mentoring engineers on complex tools and flows

• Experience developing, deploying and conducting training

• Passion for making broad impacts across a complex and diverse organization from within a central team

• Passion for directing, training and mentoring engineers in systems tools and data flow tools, resolve complex problems that make a positive impact for the business

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with a worldwide support and development team

• Experience on silicon new product development execution

• Experience with standard data analysis tools like Spotfire

• Experience deploying / supporting compliance tools

• Experience using datasheet tools such as DocZone, xMetal
