The Motor Driver Business Units is seeking a highly motivated, self-driven experienced candidate to be a key contributor to the Analog Motor Driver (AMD) Product Line marketing team. In this role you will be responsible for marketing our DRV8x automotive motor drivers targeting both body and powertrain applications. You will get to work closely with the TI sales force, customer base, and systems and applications teams in releasing products, supporting customers, and defining our roadmap.
Primary responsibilities include:
•Develop and drive AMD’s automotive marketing strategy, deep understanding of the automotive industry trend, broadening field sales and customer awareness to maximize revenue growth.
•Build strong relationships with the field and customer base. Become an expert on our automotive drivers and the go-to point of contact for all DRV8x automotive opportunities.
•Track and support all world-wide design-in opportunities from the initial discovery phase to revenue.
•Manage and execute new product launch campaign activities including press releases, product videos, contributed articles, blogs, push e-mails, marketing collateral, and web updates.
•Translate a disparate set of customer & market requirements into a prioritized list of solid business cases and then support the kick off and release to market of these devices.
•Optimize the customer’s digital storefront experience (www.ti.com) by enabling the customer to quickly find the right product, understand its value proposition and relative positioning vs. other products, and select with confidence the right product for their application.
•Build quality marketing collateral that allows the field and customer base to easily understand our portfolio and associated features and benefits.
•Develop our automotive pricing strategy and support the pricing team
•Perform competitive intelligence and analysis, product positioning, market research, forecasting, and web analytics.
•Efficient Data mining and analysis activities in PAD ( CIR, CAR, PPM and Heatmaps)
•Proficient product/NR forecasting
•Bachelor’s degree (Prefer Masters degree) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
•5 + years product marketing, applications, or systems experience in semiconductor industry or equivalent industry experience in the automotive field
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
•Deep understanding of the automotive market including the major OEMs and their associated suppliers and product requirements, the automotive development cycle, automotive quality and reliability requirements, and industry trends – is a big plus.
•Technical understanding of motor drivers or power management ICs is desired
•Highly driven, self-motivated, strategic thinker with outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
•Ability to drive multiple tactical and strategic initiatives in parallel across a global customer base; think clearly on one’s feet.
•Strong written/spoken communication skills, ability to organize information well and write with clarity and efficiency whether for an internal or external audience.
•Expected travel is 20 to 30%
