About the job;
As a member of our team, you’ll have the chance to interact with many product and manufacturing teams to support Analog and Embedded Processing growth for TI. Our team’s mission is to help worldwide AT sites achieve manufacturing excellence by innovation, cost improvements, and systemic solutions to daily issues. You’ll have high visibility on your projects, with strong opportunities for growth both within our team and across other development and test organizations. Opportunities for domestic and international travel are available.
-BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Analytics
-3 years of Product/Test engineering experience
-Enthusiastic, curious mind is an absolute must.
-Proven history of technical accomplishments.
-Ability to work with internal cross functional teams in a fast-paced global environment.
-Project management, time management, multi-tasking, and problem solving
-Advanced level of programming skills (C/C++, SQL, Perl )
-Proficiency with data analysis applications (SpotFire DXP, MBayse)
-Effective presentation and communication skills.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
-Advanced level of ATE (Automated Test Equipment) experience, including methods for Test program optimization to achieve test time reduction and improved yield, and Test hardware solution development.
-Proven Data Analytics Achievements
-Utilize Statistical Analysis tools and methods to identify manufacturing or test/product engineering issues.
-Drive innovative test standards and processes to enable best-in-class test solutions to improve cost and quality (DPPM reduction)
-Develop Test Corrective actions for customer returns (added outlier screening or test coverage).
-Optimize Test Sampling techniques for test time / test list reduction.
-Identify and screen devices with higher statistical probability of burn-in or early life failure.
-Improve semiconductor device quality and detect process excursions.
-Perform comparative analyses of outlier methodologies (e.g: Tukey, Surround techniques, other custom methods).
-Outlier infrastructure; continuous improvement.
-Advanced level of engineering statistics and distribution analysis. Ability to analyze test (and test metadata) to thoroughly understand and resolve problems. Present analyses and conclusions to internal customer teams in a comprehensive and an effective manner.
-Advanced understanding of semiconductor device fundamentals.
-Lead and facilitate cross-functional team problem solving, including coordination of activities with Product Engineers in other regions to achieve common goals.
-Build and maintain strong working relationships with various business teams, Quality, and manufacturing sites.
-Ability to multi-task complex projects and/or technical tasks as needed.
