About the job:

As a Factory Controls Engineer you are responsible for working with Fab Engineering to improve at-tool detection and reduce run-to-run process variation by implementing various Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) or Automated Process Control (APC) methods. You will work as a member of the RFAB Engineering team in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The role requires developing innovative FDC/APC solutions to reduce unscheduled tool downtime, improve process repeat ability/reliability, and protect the factory from wafer-loss events.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field of study

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in engineering capacity in semiconductor manufacturing industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience working in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment

  • Experience with FDC/APC systems (FabGaurd, E3, Equipment Sentinel, Ingenio, TIMS, etc.)
