Job Description Internship Subject:
The project will be exploiting one or more TI collision avoidance technologies:
radar (mm wave)
Time of flight (3D ToF, ultrasonic)
Other sensing technologies
The driving idea is to give a Bluetooth-controlled vehicle the ability to avoid collisions. There are only 3 guiding steps: the rest of the project will be defined together with you:
evaluate and pick the technologies
choose or design the most appropriate vehicle
Ideally design and assemble at least one PCB
You will lead the project definition and the level of difficulty as well as what you want to spend time on, from using premade building blocks to designing them, from focusing on software or hardware.
The team you will join (missions, products...):
In this role you´ll be with a team of field sales and field application Engineers who are working with target customers to generate revenue growth. This is achieved by identifying customer projects early and working closely with the customer to solve their engineering design.
Missions & main tasks:
The core of the project revolves around a full electrical engineer design cycle from specification to validation.
Managing and defining a project based on customers inputs
Intern time will actually be spent in prototyping, Schematic/Layout/Assembly of his PCB project and some embedded software
The intern will own his project as a mean to learn as well as express her/himself
Creation and refinement of collaterals for the project
