Job Description Who are we and what do we do? In HPA/IMH group we design AFEs and ADCs targeted for industrial and automotive markets. Digital group is responsible for developing very low power, low cost and high-performance digital signal processing and control blocks. We design complete digital signal chain from Analog ADC output which includes calibration/correction blocks, interpolation/decimation filters and master control block for data routing. We strive to continually differentiate our products with best-in-class digital and raising the bar for the competition. Our previous released product was RF sampling ADC with multi-band digital filter support.
What will you be doing in this role? (Responsibilities) Digital design designer in the team working independently on the development of high performance, low power digital blocks embedded in TI’s ADC products. • Ownership of digital blocks from RTL till silicon validation. • Working with Analog teams to define data/clocking interfaces and complete clocking scheme. • Able to own all portfolios of digital physical design (synthesis, PnR, timing, reliability analysis, physical verification) • Interacting with Product Engineering to characterize Silicon and transfer integrated circuits from design to production. • Work closely with Test Engineering to ensure proper test coverage of the product. • Interacting with Application Engineering to ensure successful use of products in the marketplace
What do we expect from you? (Mini Qualifications) • Experienced with IC design and full development cycle from definition through release to production. • Effective communication skills to interact with all stakeholders. • Knowledge of digital physical design techniques, including but not limited to synthesis, PnR, timing, reliability analysis, physical verification is necessary • Must be highly focused and remain committed to obtaining closure on project goals. • Team and People Skills: The candidate should have good people skills to work closely with the layout, test and design team.
